Ms. Buie is Of Counsel with Seldon Bofinger and has been with the firm since its inception. She represents clients in disability and employment law matters with specific expertise in the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and related laws and regulations. She has extensive trial experience and has successfully represented clients, including senior federal government managers and members of law enforcement, before numerous federal courts and administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board. Ms. Buie also has significant federal appellate experience and has argued appeals before the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the D.C. Circuit, the Seventh Circuit, and the Federal Circuit.
Ms. Buie is a long-time member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association (MWELA), an organization dedicated to the advancement of the plaintiffs-side employment bar in the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated with honors from the American University, Washington College of Law and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Florida. Ms. Buie is barred in New York, the District of Columbia, and Florida, and is admitted to the bars of several federal courts throughout the country.
